To emerge as a winner of the match of the day, a team needs to score 20 points. A Referee and two linesmen handle each attempt of the match. To win a point, the Pitch Athletes in say team A must run and cross a designated line (a player who crosses this first eams 1 point). Players don’t stop after crossing the line; they proceed in search for the hidden object and whoever finds it first also earns 1 point for his or her team. The Athletes then pass the found object to the Midfielders who also run and give the object to the Shooters. Both the Shooter and Midfielders run with a ball and when the Shooter gets to another designated line (18m. distance) he or she stays behind the line and throws the ball to a small goalpost with a network. If this attempt is successful on the Shooter’s part, he or she earns two points. Upon earning the final points in the first attempt or round of the match, the Referee and the Linesmen start and continue with the same approach to the Chaskele Sports.
The name tagged to these sports is originally popular in Ghana but the successful complete designed of the Chaskele Sports is beyond people imagination and this means Chaskele is a new field sports in our generation. The purpose of this professional sports is for the two teams with three players each to run from the other side of the park to the other end (100m distance) to find a hidden object.
