This unique chapter of Cultural Games and Sports Honours and Awards has been designed to create awareness of exceptional knowledge, interest and understanding of the cultural games in the respective communities, and appreciating this recognition there is a probability of attracting and promoting the World’s Cultural Games and Sports, and effectively maintaining professionals in the cultural games that can potentially benefit industries such as the entertainment, tourism, etc. The Cultural Games Personality Awards (CGPA) is a distinctive initiative with a rewarding structured planning aimed at specific accomplishment exemplified through the cultural or traditional games. Among the major elements of CGPA is an appreciation which centres on acknowledging excellent Cultural Games performance which has positively impacted organizations’ and social developments.
The standard of CGPA system of approach to recognize cultural games-performance is among the highest in the award environments, where candidates are registered for the award through the support of the CGPA Advisory Board Members who are provided with a wealth of ideas for practical directions to conduct a free and fair selection. INTRODUCTION
The cultural games development and promotion issues are a growing concern in contemporary sports and entertainment industries, and today more than ever, private organisations, major corporations and governmental institutions have recognised the importance and interests in the field of cultural games due to its commitments in promoting tourism, revenue development in the entertainment industries across the world, and responding to the various traditional sports challenges in racial abuse or human rights injustices. With the excellent multidisciplinary, partnership with sports researchers, sports development agencies, sports journalists and practitioners, sports academies and training industries with the aim of providing exceptionally entertaining cultural games and sports industry, there is overwhelming interest and significant understanding of the rejuvenated cultural games and sports, attracting more individuals and groups to offer support in maintaining the ancient fascinating games that are in modern rebranding focus to meet with the global communities interests.
In the area of Cultural Games development and promotion, the famous Cultural Games Association (CGA) perceived that organizing competitive events may not be enough to encourage and motivate cultural games and sports fraternity in the subject-industry, and this led to the creation of the Cultural Games Personality Awards (CGPA) which conveys promotional factor model to sustain competitiveness in the reputable cultural games industry.
This innovative system of award is considerably recognised as being a premier in not only conferring something tangible to a person for outstanding skills, performance and understanding in the cultural games but that, which aim to develop corporate growth, personality networking and enhancing existing partnerships between personnel in sports agencies and sports academic institutions. The designated award categories are approved by experts and professionals who feel such system of approach and implementation is noted as contemporary model of reward; a system of honours where diplomatic missions, heads of states and other relevant organizations maintain greater power in selecting beneficiaries for the Award. This designated award programme is opened to individuals or group of sports personalities registered and known in the Cultural Games activities. The CGPA objective is to reward a person who plays any of the traditional or cultural games at professional or amateur level that goes beyond the demonstration of outstanding and uniqueness in performance of the cultural games, to supporting the development and promoting the subject games in various communities across countries.
With the aim of creating the CGPA initiative to raise awareness of excellence in cultural games and sports, develop and promote professional network among sports interest groups, establish partnership with government sports agents, expert within the sports organisations, associate stakeholders and academic representatives, the Award program idea have been welcome across boundaries in Africa and the maiden event will be organised half-yearly to highlight the talents in cultural games, use the famous Award platform to discuss job and opportunity creations for youths, and simultaneously encouraging and promoting gender equality and diversity for sustainable global peace.
Furthermore, CGPA has made a strategic move to diversity into providing financial and educational scholarship rewards to winners who can demonstrate excellence in the course of their cultural games activities, sports studies or research undertakings. As it has always been the CGPA custom, the invention of the scholarship reward is specific to categories of winners which CGPA feel they have created a valuable idea or innovation, and believe such support will be beneficial to augment a further knowledge and understanding of the cultural games and sports discipline should the winners be giving the opportunity to study with notable relevant sports or research institution.

CATEGORIES OF AWARDS
Traditional Game and Sports Personality of the Year
This will recognise the overall best Cultural Games and Sports Player of the Year
Cultural Games Centre of the Year
This award honours a sports agency whose teaching or training centre concentrate on cultural games development and promotion and its service is considered as valued and outstanding.
Cultural Games Kings Award
This award is descriptive of a King’s preference in a player who has distinguished himself or herself as outstanding in cultural games initiatives, innovations and professionalism. The award is presented by or on behalf of a living Paramount Chief.
Global Cultural Games Ambassador Award
This award is given in recognition to cultural games ambassadorial services or achievements demonstrated beyond borders on ones country of residence
Cultural Games Training Manager of the Year
This award recognizes cultural games club manager who has demonstrated consistency in quality training and performance
Global Cultural Games Coordination Award
The purpose of this award is to recognize the recipient who has proven excellence in international coordination service
Outstanding Research and Development Award
This award honours individual or group for excellence research and publication which is specifically within the cultural games and sports field of study
